In this period, she has received intense training in handling high-risk pregnancies and treated several thousands of high-risk patients like severe preeclampsia (seizures due to high BP in pregnancy), HELLP syndrome (bleeding disorder due to high BP in pregnancy), obstetric cholestasis, heart disease like valvular heart disease, Takayasu's disease, and pulmonary hypertension. Also, she has performed thousands of high-risk caesarian sections including LSCS for HELLP syndrome, Abruptio placenta, Placenta praevia, Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (bleeding diathesis), portal hypertension, etc.

She says that she is blessed to have the opportunity of working under the guidance of Prof. V. Madhini, Prof. Dr. Radhabai Prabhu MD FRCOG, Prof. Dr. Latha Jawahar, and Prof. Dr. Anjalakshi MD, PhD. In this era of high-risk pregnancy, lack of training in high-risk obstetrics poses a health hazard to women & children. But Dr. Mythily is well-versed in treating high-risk pregnant patients with ease, thanks to her training in IOG, which is the referral center for high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies. She has also undergone Obstetric & Gynaec Ultrasound training as ultrasound has always been considered the sixth finger of an obstetrician. She has also undergone Laparoscopy training at Endoscopic Centre, Paul's Hospital, Cochin, and is well-versed in Laparoscopy and hysteroscopic surgeries. She has also undergone intrauterine insemination workshop training and colposcopy (cervical cancer screening) workshop training. At present, she is a visiting consultant in several hospitals in Anna Nagar.

Dr. Mythily has also completed a diploma in reproductive medicine (fertility treatment) from Kiel's University, Germany.
